1.WWW
- defined as world wide of internet collection
- can contain text, graphic, video and audio
- also can be website or web server or web 2.0
2. E-mail
- defined as the transmission of massege and files via computer network
- simple text that may contain attachment (documents, graphic, text, video clip)
- can create, send, receive, forward, and delete e-mail message
3. Instant Messaging
- real-time internet communication service that notifies you when one or more of your establish contact are online
- real-time = term use with online communications that means you and the people with whom you are conversing are online at the same time
- some instant messaging (IM) support voice and video conversation
- they also allow you to send photo or other documents to a recipient, listen to the streaming music, and play games with other online party.
4.VoIP (Voice over IP (Internet Protocol)
- Conversation that take place over the Internet using a telephone connected to a computer, mobile devices or other device.
- Example: Skype, wechat, kakao talk
5. Message Board
- Defined as an online area in which users have written discussions about a particular subject.
- User posts a message (called an article) to the newsgroup and other users in the newsgroup read and reply to the message.
6. FTP (File Transfer Protocol)
- Defined as internet standard that permits file uploading and downloading with other computers on the Internet.
- Uploading : process transferring files from your computer or mobile device to a server in the Internet
- Downloading : process transferring files from a server in the Internet to your computer or mobile device
- Example : FileZilla, AbleFtp, SmartFTP
